FreePrints Photobooks: what is free and what costs extra
FreePrints Photobooks UK describes an included standard softcover book with limits. Delivery, extra pages and upgrades may cost more. Check the offer in your app and the final basket before ordering.
Start with 40 pages free. No card needed.
The UK page checked on 6 November 2026 describes one standard softcover book each month with up to 20 pages. It lists delivery and upgrades separately.
This guide explains the offer structure. It is not a claim that we ordered a book or that every customer, destination or app version receives identical terms.
Make a photo book
Arrange your photos on the pages, check the proof and order a printed copy.
| Part of the order | Check | Do not assume |
|---|---|---|
| Included book | Current size, cover and page limit | Every format is included |
| Extra pages | Number and price beyond the allowance | A longer book has the same total |
| Cover or size upgrade | Selected option and added amount | The headline offer covers it |
| Delivery or collection | Availability and exact amount | Every destination has a free route |
| Final basket | Complete payable amount | A free base book means a free order |
Start with the included specification
Check the size, cover and page allowance shown in the current regional offer. The checked UK page lists 7 by 5 inch or 6 by 6 inch standard softcover choices.
A larger size, hardcover or longer book changes the comparison. Decide whether the included book meets the purpose before selecting upgrades.
Read the final delivery choice
The public offer discusses delivery charges and also describes some collection options. Availability must be checked in the app for the actual order.
Do not call the whole transaction free without checking that a suitable no-charge collection route is genuinely available to you.
Separate monthly allowance from a subscription
The checked public page describes no subscription or commitment for its included-book offer. That does not mean every extra option or future order is free.
Record which monthly allowance the order uses and whether the selected project exceeds it. Keep the basket confirmation for the specific book.
Compare the book you would actually buy
For a small everyday collection, the included format may be sufficient. For a larger project, compare the upgraded basket with other services at the same specification.
tbf's free digital book and a free-printing allowance are different offers. A free tbf account does not include a physical book or postage.
