Memora alternative: a family scrapbook that also prints

Memora is a free shared scrapbook board with photos, GIFs, text and stickers, and no print or export. tbf scrapbook adds video and voice, a downloaded copy and a printed book.

Start with 40 pages free. No card needed.

Memora's own pages, its family scrapbook page and its comparisons were read on 29 October 2026.

Both make a scrapbook that several people add to in a browser. They part ways on what you can put in it and how you keep it.

What Memora is

Memora is a collaborative digital scrapbook on a free-form board, free to use and made for friends, families, farewells and classrooms.

You add photos, GIFs, text, stickers and covers. Others join from an edit link or a reusable code, sign in with Google and edit with you in real time.

A short view-only link shares the finished board.

Where it stops

Memora says it does not offer print or export tools, so the book lives on its site.

Its pages do not mention video or voice recordings.

Everyone with the edit link changes the same board, which suits a class and makes a surprise harder.

What tbf scrapbook adds

Contributors send photos, words, audio and video from an invitation link, without an account. Nothing reaches the page until you put it there.

A paid book downloads as a PDF, as page images and as a book file with the original media that opens offline.

It prints as softcover, hardback or lay-flat, and each recording in it gets a code that opens it in a browser.

What each costs

Memora says it is currently free.

A tbf scrapbook is free for one book of forty pages, read and shared with a watermark. One book of up to 300 pages is £19 or US$25, paid once.

Steps

  1. List what people will send

If anyone will send a clip or a voice note, the maker has to take them.

  2. Decide who edits

Real-time editing suits a class. One person arranging suits a surprise.

  3. Decide how you will keep it

A board on a website goes when the site does. A download or a print stays.

  4. Try one page with a friend

Send the link to one person first and see what arrives.
