How it works

Choose a style, a book type, a size and a page count here, then press Start this book. The studio opens a new book in that style with an empty cover and empty pages.

Drag photos from your phone or computer into the frames, or straight onto a page. Type a title on the cover and words under any photo. The book saves as you go, so you can come back to it on another day or another device.

When it is finished, read the proof of every page, then order. You pay once you have seen the proof.

Which style to choose

Covers with one large frame suit a single photo everybody knows. The grid covers take four or nine photos, which suits a year or a baby's first months. The strip and fanned covers look like photo booth prints and instant photos laid on a table.

The colour of a style is on the cover and the pages. You can change it later, so choose the layout you like and fix the colour afterwards.

Pages and photos

Each book type starts at its own number of pages and goes up two at a time. Most people fit two to three photos on a page, so 24 pages takes about 50 photos and 40 pages about 90.

Use the largest copy of each photo you have. A photo sent through a messaging app is often too small to print a full page sharply.

Questions

Is a blank book the same price as a design?

Yes. The price depends on the book type, the size and the number of pages, never on the style.

Can I change the style after I start?

Yes. Every frame, colour and font can be changed in the studio at any time before you order.

Do I need to sign in?

You sign in when you start the book, so it is saved to your account and you can finish it later.
