Making your Antalya photo book
Antalya's photographs come from the cliffs. The old harbour in Kaleiçi, with the yachts and the city walls behind them, opens spread one. Spread two can hold Konyaaltı beach with the Beydağları range behind it, which keeps snow on its tops into May. The lower Düden waterfall drops straight off the cliff into the sea, and seen from a boat it fills a page of spread three. End with Hadrian's Gate and the old town lanes, or the theatre at Aspendos if you went inland.
Boat trips leave the old harbour in the morning, and the light on the cliffs is best on the way back. Late afternoon is when Konyaaltı goes pink and the mountains turn purple. Pomegranate juice is pressed on the street corners, and a picture of the cart sits well next to the beach. Keep the boat ticket to photograph flat.
