Making your Bordeaux photo book
Bordeaux is pale stone beside a wide river, and the Place de la Bourse has both, doubled in the Miroir d'Eau across the road. Open with that. Behind it run the old streets of Saint-Pierre and the Rue Sainte-Catherine, with trams sliding through. The quays and the Cité du Vin make the third spread. Then go out to Saint-Émilion, its church cut into the rock and vines growing up to the town walls.
The Miroir d'Eau switches between a thin sheet of water and a mist every few minutes; wait for the still water, then come back after dark when the Bourse is lit. Keep the château's tasting card with the vintage on it.
