Making your Cyprus photo book
Cyprus looks best from above or from the water, and the sea there really is that colour. Put Ayia Napa and the sea caves at Cape Greco on the first spread, then Nissi Beach and the white rocks of Konnos Bay on the second. Aphrodite's Rock at Petra tou Romiou, near Paphos, is the long photograph for spread three. Close the book in the Troodos hills, where the villages make halloumi and the monasteries keep painted icons.
The west coast around Paphos has the sunsets, and the east around Protaras has the clearest water at midday. Grilled halloumi with watermelon is the summer lunch, and a picture of the plate sits well beside the beach pages. People skip the mosaics at the Paphos Archaeological Park. Go, and keep the entrance ticket to photograph flat.
