Barbados photo book
A4 portrait, 21 x 29.7 cm, Hardback, 24 pages
A flying fish leaps off a wave on pale blue, the fish Bajans eat with cou-cou. This Barbados book has a spread for each coast, Paynes Bay in the west and Bathsheba's rocks in the east, and one for the Oistins fish fry.
Shown with sample photos. You add your own and can change every page.
Making your Barbados photo book
The flying fish on the cover is half the national dish, served with cou-cou, and a Barbados book should hold a plate of it. The island has two coasts, so give each its own spread. The west is Mullins or Paynes Bay, flat calm and clear. The east is Bathsheba, where the rocks stand in the surf. Bridgetown and the Friday fish fry at Oistins come third, and a rum distillery, Mount Gay or St Nicholas Abbey, last.
Swim on the west and photograph on the east. The Atlantic side is best in the afternoon, when the sun is behind you as you look out to sea. A distillery tour ticket is the thing to bring home flat.
