Making your Budapest photo book
Budapest is two towns joined by bridges over the Danube. On the Buda side, Fisherman's Bastion looks across at the Parliament, and that is the first spread. Pest is the Great Market Hall and the green iron of the Liberty Bridge beside it. The yellow Széchenyi baths in the City Park take a spread of their own. Save the last for night, the Chain Bridge lit and the river seen from the window of tram 2.
Fisherman's Bastion is free and quiet before nine; later in the day the upper terraces charge. A string of dried paprika from the market hall photographs well laid flat on the hotel bed.
