Dublin photo book
A4 portrait, 21 x 29.7 cm, Hardback, 24 pages
Pale green, with a pint of stout under the title, this book is for a few days in Dublin. The Ha'penny Bridge at dusk, the Georgian doors of Merrion Square and the mirrors of the Long Hall go inside.
Shown with sample photos. You add your own and can change every page.
Making your Dublin photo book
A Dublin book tends to follow the Liffey. Open with the Ha'penny Bridge and the quays at dusk, when the water goes orange behind O'Connell Bridge. Use the second spread for Grafton Street and the Georgian doors around Merrion Square, the third for a long view down the river, and keep the last one for pubs, the mirrors in the Long Hall or a pint settling at Kehoe's. A DART ride out to Howth earns a page of its own.
Dublin weather turns every twenty minutes, and the shots worth having often come just after a shower, with the pavements wet and the sky clearing over the river. Keep a beer mat or your Guinness Storehouse ticket and photograph it flat beside a pub picture. People rush the Long Room at Trinity. It is dim in there, so hold still and leave the flash off.
