London photo book
A4 portrait, 21 x 29.7 cm, Hardback, 24 pages
Red letters and a bowler hat beside a furled umbrella make the cover of this London book. It is for the city on foot: Parliament from Westminster Bridge, Tower Bridge from Potters Fields and the stalls of Borough Market.
Shown with sample photos. You add your own and can change every page.
Making your London photo book
Most London books start on the river, and that is no bad thing. Put the Houses of Parliament from Westminster Bridge on the first spread, then Big Ben beside the City towers, the Walkie-Talkie and the Gherkin, on the second. Tower Bridge can take a whole page on spread three. Give the last spread to the streets, a red-brick mansion block in Kensington and the stalls at Borough Market, or the view south from Primrose Hill if you walked up.
Tower Bridge looks best from Potters Fields on the south bank in the morning, with the sun behind you and the river still quiet. An Oyster card or a theatre programme from the West End lies flat nicely on a page. People forget the Tube, and one shot of the roundel on the platform at Baker Street is London without a word.
