Making your Mykonos photo book
Mykonos town is small enough to walk in a morning, and most of this book stays there. Kato Mili, the windmills on the ridge above the harbour, makes the opening spread. Little Venice follows, balconies hung right over the water, then the lanes off Matoyianni with their blue doors and painted steps. For the end, take the boat across to Delos, the island of ruins where nobody is allowed to stay the night.
The meltemi blows hard through July and August, and an evening at Little Venice means spray on the lens, so carry a cloth. Keep the Delos boat ticket and the site's paper map; they fit a corner of the last spread.
