Lemons grow on terraces above the sea all along the Amalfi Coast, and two of them hang from a branch on this terracotta cover. Follow the coast road from Positano, stacked down to its beach, through Atrani to the terrace at Villa Cimbrone in Ravello.

Making your Amalfi photo book
The Amalfi coast is one road on a cliff with towns hanging off it. Positano, stacked down to its beach, opens the book. Amalfi itself has the cathedral at the top of its long stair and a bell tower in green and yellow tiles. Atrani is next door and easy to drive past; stop, and give it a page. Ravello sits high above, and the terrace at Villa Cimbrone looks down the coast for the last spread.
Take the ferry between the towns at least once instead of the bus. The coast looks right from the water, and in summer traffic the boat is quicker. Positano faces south and is in sun most of the day, so photograph it as the ferry comes in. The lemons on the cover grow on terraces under nets and end up in limoncello; a bottle label goes in easily.
