Making your Sydney photo book
Sydney's book is mostly harbour, and the ferry gives you the best seat for it. The Opera House and the Harbour Bridge, shot from the Manly ferry as it leaves Circular Quay, are the obvious opening and the right one. The coastal walk south of Bondi and the Icebergs pool come next. The weekend market in The Rocks and a pie from Harry's Café de Wheels fill the third spread, and the Three Sisters at Echo Point in the Blue Mountains the fourth.
To get the bridge and the Opera House in one photo, stand at Mrs Macquarie's Chair. Vivid Sydney lights the buildings for a few weeks in late May and June. Keep your Opal card, if you bought one, or a ferry timetable.
