Making your Nice photo book
Start a Nice book on the hill. From the top of the Colline du Château you get the Baie des Anges and the Promenade des Anglais curving away round the bay. Down on the promenade, the blue chairs deserve a spread. Vieux Nice is ochre house fronts and the Cours Saleya market, with socca eaten hot out of its paper. Last, take the train east along the coast to Villefranche or Menton.
The beach is pebbles, and they photograph best wet, right at the water's edge. Trains along the coast leave Nice-Ville often; going east, sit on the right for the sea, and keep the ticket for the final page.
