The astronomical clock on Old Town Square, blue and gold on warm cream, is the front of this Praha book. It crosses the Vltava for the castle, walks Charles Bridge at six in the morning and ends in the Letná beer garden.

Making your Prague photo book
The Vltava cuts Prague in two, and this book crosses it more than once. The castle and St Vitus, seen from the far bank, make the first spread. The Charles Bridge itself is the second, its statues black against the sky. Old Town Square holds the Týn church towers and the astronomical clock. Finish up high, on Petřín hill or in the Letná beer garden, looking down the river at its bridges.
The Charles Bridge is empty at six in the morning and full by ten, and that early alarm is the whole tip. A beer mat from a pub in Malá Strana is the right size for a corner of any page.
